  So — have been messing about with this thing for about five months now and I keep coming back, so figured I'd say something since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am UK based, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I'm coming from.
  
  The reason I started using it was actually pretty stupid — I could never figure out what an ew return actually came to when the place terms changed. Basically I'd wing it and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.
  
  Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I'm on daily — type in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return with no faffing, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, honestly that's where most people I know mess it up. If you want a look, it's over at ew patent calculator and it's free with no account nonsense.
  
  One thing that genuinely changed how I bet were the nerdier tools. There's an implied probability thing that shows what margin's baked in, plus a kelly tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit for when I'm splitting a race.
  
  Couple of gripes. The design looks pretty plain — not much polish, it's clearly function over form. On my phone it works but the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. And nothing on the app store, just the site — slight shame but you asked.
  
  Anyway. Free, barely any ads, does the job. If you even now does the maths on paper, give it a go — it's saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
