    When I originally commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on each time a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the exact same comment. Is there a means you are able to remove me from that service? Kudos!

    Looking back now, it feels surreal telling this story today.
    Back when the new competitive season started, I got totally consumed in online games – Valorant.
    I wanted to climb ranks fast, and I kept searching for shortcuts everywhere.


    One evening, I stumbled across a forum thread talking about scripts.
    At first I laughed it off, but the more I scrolled,
    the more it felt like a tempting escape.

    People were bragging showing how they climbed from low ranks to high
    ones in days. It looked like magic. And of course, it was too good to be true.


    I won’t lie, I actually got close to buying something.
    One guy tried to explain the “features” to me.
    That’s when it hit me.

    I found threads from players who lost thousands
    of hours of progress. Some even wrote how they couldn’t undo the damage.
    The shock snapped me out of it.

    Instead of taking that dumb risk, I walked away and focused on improving the legitimate way.


    Now, when I see people chasing cheats, I just think: the
    crash always comes. Just learn from my almost-mistake.
